Vines High School Colorguard

This is a visual ensemble that adds to the pageantry and dynamic of the on-field performance of the marching band. Students will earn membership by going through an audition process in the spring semester. They will then receive special training to develop the skills that they use to enhance the marching program. Summer camp for Colorguard usually starts early in mid July. Camp will go all the way up to the first day of school, from there we will then switch to morning rehearsals. 
Winter Guard
 Those in Colorguard will get the chance to perform year round once the marching season is over. You will perform a routine to recorded music in a different environment. Not only is there an effort to perform well for Winter Guard, but this activity helps strengthen the guard for the upcoming marching season. All are welcome to join us for the winter season! And no experience is needed to join!
