WIND SYMPHONY SELECTED TO PERFORM AT FESTIVAL!!
For 50 years, the Vines High School Band located in Plano has built a proud tradition of musical excellence. This year, as we celebrate our 50th anniversary, our students have achieved something truly historic.
The Vines Wind Symphony Band has been selected to perform at the 2027 Music for All National Festival in Indianapolis, becoming the first JV high school band in the United States ever selected to perform at the festival in its more than 30-year history.
Approximately 60 students will have the opportunity to represent Vines High School, Plano ISD, and North Texas on a national stage. But getting them there will cost approximately $2,300 per student. To help relieve some of the cost for families, we are trying to raise significantly more funds than in a typical year.
Your tax-deductible donation will help offset the cost of this once-in-a-lifetime trip while continuing to support the instruments, equipment, instruction, and opportunities that keep our entire band program thriving.
Our Vines Band Family is a place for everyone, where students develop discipline, confidence, responsibility, collaboration, and a sense of belonging that extends far beyond the music.
50 years of music. A historic first. 60 students headed for a national stage.
Help us get the Vines Wind Symphony to Indianapolis and continue building the next 50 years of Vines Band.
