8TH GRADE PARENT TO-DOS BEFORE FEBRUARY 2026 1. Sign into Vines Band Membership Toolkit and update Parent & Student Information. This is the Band Booster website where you will find all uniform and spirit wear order forms and volunteer opportunities. The Boosters will use your email addresses from this site to keep you informed about important dates/deadlines starting in early Spring. 2. Create Parent & Student Accounts for Presto Assistant. Click for instructions and link. This is the platform that Mr. Cao & Mr. Martin will use for email updates to parents. JANUARY 31, 2026 - Cafe Virtuoso All the bands from Haggard, Wilson, and Vines will perform while audience members enjoy a Bake Sale, Raffle, and Silent Auction. The majority of monies raised from this Fundraiser are earmarked to benefit our 2 feeder middle schools. See more info HERE including links to buy tickets and bid on auction items. FEBRUARY 3, 2026 - Open Band Booster Executive Board Meeting Anyone interested in learning more about the booster executive board and chair positions and potentially stepping into one of the roles (or shadowing a position) are invited to this open board meeting. We would love to see some incoming Freshmen parents there too! LATE APRIL-EARLY MAY 2026 - Placement Auditions All students will audition during their band classes to determine Vines Band Placement. MAY 16, 2026 (1-5pm) - Launch Camp with Parent Meeting - MANDATORY Learn all you need to know about Vines Band and upcoming summer rehearsals. Meet your section leader and be fitted for shoes and shirts. A Parent Meeting will be held for 1 hour at the beginning of Launch Camp. MID-MAY 2026 - Registration Forms for Band Required Items & Spirit Wear Opens Place your orders for all required items, including shirts, shorts, marching shoes, water jug/juguzzi (sleeve), marching accessories, game day meals, etc. See "What Does it Cost to be in Band" document for estimate of costs. MAY 26 - 29, 2026 - Percussion & Colorguard Camp Typically 7:30am - 5pm. Required for Percussion Battery positions but highly recommended for front ensemble too. MID-JUNE 2026 - Registration Forms for Band Required Items Closes It's imperative to place your orders before the deadline so items will arrive in time for Uniform Fitting Day. Orders not placed by the deadline will not be ready until late August and students potentially won't have the necessary items for the first few games. JULY 20-24, 2026 - Percussion, Colorguard, and Leadership Camp (Required) Typically 7:30am - 5pm. Required for all percussionists, colorguard, and student leadership. JULY 27, 2026 - Band Summer Camp Starts for All Instruments (Required) Typically 7:30am - 3pm AUGUST 1, 2026 - Uniform Fitting Day (Required) Students are fitted for and receive their uniform & bag, marching shoes, and other required items and additional spirit wear (if ordered by deadline).
